Genderqueer Pride Flag

The genderqueer pride flag has three equal horizontal stripes and was designed by writer and activist Marilyn Roxie in 2011. The top lavender stripe, a mix of blue and pink, stands for androgyny and queerness. The white middle stripe represents agender or gender-neutral identity. The bottom green stripe, the inverse of lavender on the color wheel, represents identities defined outside the binary of man and woman. Roxie released the design freely for community use, and it has since become a widely recognized symbol for genderqueer and non-binary people. It is often flown alongside the separate yellow, white, purple, and black non-binary flag created later.
