NGLCC (The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce)
The NGLCC, or National LGBT Chamber of Commerce, is the largest U.S. advocacy group for LGBTQ+ business owners and the exclusive certifier of LGBT-owned businesses.
The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) is the leading U.S. advocacy organization dedicated to the economic advancement of the LGBTQ+ business community. It was founded in November 2002 by Justin Nelson and Chance Mitchell, who saw that the economic impact of LGBTQ+ people had gone largely unrecognized. NGLCC is the exclusive certifying body for LGBT Business Enterprises (LGBTBE), a credential now used across roughly a third of Fortune 500 companies and many government supply chains to connect LGBTQ+-owned businesses with contracting opportunities. The organization supports a network of local affiliate chambers, has certified thousands of suppliers, and reports that LGBTQ+-owned businesses contribute well over a trillion dollars to the national economy each year.
