Pillow Queen

Pillow queen is a close variant of "pillow princess," describing a person who prefers to receive sexual attention and does not reciprocate much. Documented in lesbian subcultures, it is also used in gay male contexts. The "queen" framing carries a slightly stronger sense of comfort, ease, and self-indulgence than "princess." As with related terms, the meaning turns on context and delivery: it can be a warm in-joke between partners, light teasing, or a genuine complaint about someone seen as taking more than they give. These labels describe a preference in the bedroom, not a fixed identity, and many people move between roles depending on their partner.
