Spiritual Attraction

Spiritual attraction is a pull toward another person rooted in a sense of deep spiritual or soul-level connection, distinct from sexual or romantic attraction.

Spiritual attraction is a form of attraction based on a felt spiritual or soul-level connection with another person, separate from sexual or romantic desire. It appears most often in communities that use the split attraction model, an idea common in asexual and aromantic spaces which holds that attraction is not a single unified thing. That framework separates types such as sexual, romantic, aesthetic, sensual, emotional, and spiritual attraction, letting people describe their experiences more precisely. Spiritual attraction is less discussed in mainstream frameworks and means different things to different people, often tied to shared beliefs, practices, or a sense of resonance. For some ace, aromantic, and relationship-anarchist people, it names a central way they bond.
