Edging
Edging is a sexual technique of repeatedly approaching the brink of orgasm and then pausing to delay climax, which can prolong arousal and intensify the eventual orgasm.
Edging is the practice of controlling an orgasm by bringing yourself or a partner close to climax and then stopping or easing off, repeated as many times as desired. Also called surfing, peaking, or teasing, it grew in part from the stop-start and squeeze methods long used to manage premature ejaculation. People edge alone through masturbation or with a partner, and the technique appears both in everyday sexual exploration and in BDSM, where one partner may control the other's orgasm as a form of erotic denial. Supporters say it can make sex last longer, build body awareness, and intensify the eventual release. As with any shared sexual practice, communication and consent between partners come first.
