Elton John

Sir Elton John is a British singer, pianist, and composer, one of the best-selling recording artists in history with hundreds of millions of records sold. Working for decades with lyricist Bernie Taupin, he produced hits including "Your Song," "Rocket Man," "Tiny Dancer," and "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road." He came out as bisexual in a 1976 Rolling Stone interview and later spoke of himself as gay. In 1992 he founded the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which has raised hundreds of millions of dollars for HIV and AIDS work worldwide. He entered a civil partnership with David Furnish in 2005 and married him in 2014 after England legalized same-sex marriage. The two are raising two sons.
