Grabby Awards

The Grabby Awards, usually called the Grabbys, are an annual awards show recognizing performers, directors, and studios in the gay adult film industry. The first ceremony, then known as the Adult Erotic Gay Video Awards, was held in 1991 and listed in the year-end issue of Gay Chicago Magazine. Additional categories were added in the following years as the event grew. The awards were owned by Gay Chicago Magazine until 2009 and are now sponsored by GRAB Magazine and operated by Grabbys, LLC. Held in Chicago, typically at the Metro Theater, the ceremony is one of the more prominent honors in the gay adult entertainment world, with nominations, public voting, and surrounding parties each year.
