Interrogation
In BDSM, interrogation is a consensual role-play scene where one partner takes on an authority or questioner role and psychologically pressures the other within pre-agreed limits.
In a BDSM context, interrogation is a form of psychological role-play in which one partner acts as an authority figure who questions, pressures, or challenges the other, who plays a captive or resistant role. Scenes can blend dominance and submission, resistance, and the tension of withholding or giving up information, and they may combine verbal play with physical elements like restraint. The appeal is usually the intense power dynamic and adrenaline rather than any real coercion. As with all BDSM, it depends on clear negotiation beforehand, informed consent, agreed limits, safewords, and aftercare, so that everyone can stop the scene at any point. Depictions of real interrogation in policing or military settings are a separate, non-consensual matter.
