MISTR

MISTR is a telemedicine platform focused on LGBTQ+ sexual health, offering online access to PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV prevention), long-term HIV care, DoxyPEP, and STI and hepatitis C testing across the United States and Puerto Rico. It works through virtual consultations and at-home test kits, with much of its care available at no cost to the patient. The model is built to lower barriers many people face, such as stigma, cost, or a lack of knowledgeable local providers. MISTR is now one of the largest telehealth sources of HIV prevention in the country. Its sister service, SISTR, extends similar care to women and other communities.
