In BDSM and power-exchange contexts, service refers to acts a submissive partner performs for a dominant partner as an expression of devotion and structured role fulfillment. What counts as service is negotiated between the people involved. It can include domestic tasks, personal care, protocol, or sexual acts, and it does not have to be sexual at all.
