Pressed
Slang, rooted in Black and queer culture, for being bothered, upset, or worked up over something the speaker sees as not worth it.
Pressed is slang for being bothered, upset, or overly worked up about something, usually with the implication that the reaction is bigger than the situation deserves. Asking why are you so pressed suggests someone should let it go. The term comes out of Black and queer vernacular, closely tied to ballroom and drag culture, and has since spread through African American English and internet slang into wider everyday use. That path mirrors how a lot of Black and queer vocabulary has moved into mainstream digital speech. Depending on tone it can be a gentle tease among friends or a pointed way of dismissing someone's complaint.
