Asexy is a playful, self-affirming term that asexual people use to celebrate their identity with pride.
Asexy is a lighthearted, community-coined term that blends "asexual" and "sexy" into a badge of pride. Asexual, often shortened to "ace," describes people who feel little or no sexual attraction to others, an identity that exists on a spectrum. Because ace people are frequently told their orientation is a phase or a problem to be fixed, "asexy" flips the script and treats asexuality as something to celebrate rather than explain away. You will see the word on merchandise, in social media bios, and across ace community spaces, usually with humor and warmth. It is casual slang, not a clinical label, and it signals belonging within the wider asexual community.
