Sexual Attraction

Sexual attraction is the experience of finding another person sexually desirable and wanting sexual contact or intimacy with them.

Sexual attraction is the pull toward wanting sexual contact or intimacy with a specific person, often tied to arousal and desire. It is one of several kinds of attraction people can feel, alongside romantic, aesthetic, and sensual attraction, and it is the type most central to how sexual orientation is described. Sexual attraction can vary in how strong or frequent it is and in which genders it is directed toward. It does not always line up with romantic attraction. Someone can feel romantically drawn to a person without sexual desire, or the reverse. This distinction is important in asexual and aromantic communities, where people often describe their romantic and sexual orientations separately because the two do not automatically match.
