Chastity
In BDSM, chastity is a consensual practice of handing control over one's sexual release to a partner, often enforced with a locking device.
In a BDSM and kink context, chastity is the consensual practice of giving up control over one's own sexual pleasure and release to a partner. It usually involves orgasm denial and tease-and-denial play, and is often enforced with a locking device worn by the submissive. The dominant partner, sometimes called the keyholder, decides if and when release is allowed. The appeal is psychological as much as physical: anticipation, submission, and trust build the power exchange over hours, weeks, or longer arrangements. Like all BDSM, it depends on negotiation, consent, safewords, and attention to hygiene and comfort. Outside of kink, chastity more plainly means abstaining from sexual activity, often for personal or religious reasons.
