Gaydar (App)

Gaydar is a social connection and dating app built by and for the LGBTQ+ community. It was designed from the ground up to reflect the full range of queer life, from dating and hookups to friendship, community, and belonging, rather than adapting a platform that was never meant for LGBTQ+ people. The app puts safety, authenticity, and inclusion across all identities and orientations at the center of the experience, giving users a space to show up as their full selves. The name plays on the older slang term "gaydar," the intuitive sense of recognizing other queer people.
