Skoliosexual
Skoliosexual describes a person who is primarily or exclusively attracted to nonbinary, genderqueer, and gender-nonconforming people.
Skoliosexual, sometimes spelled scoliosexual, describes attraction that centers people who are nonbinary, genderqueer, transgender, or otherwise gender-nonconforming, rather than attraction organized around someone's sex assigned at birth. Pronounced skoh-lee-oh-sexual, the term emerged in online LGBTQ+ communities as a way to name an orientation focused on gender identity itself. Supporters describe it as an authentic orientation grounded in genuine connection. The term is also debated: some critics worry it can flatten or objectify nonbinary people, and some nonbinary individuals dislike being framed as a single category of attraction. As with all identity labels, whether the word fits is up to the individual, and usage and preferences vary.
