Twunk

Twunk is a portmanteau of 'twink' and 'hunk' used in gay culture to describe a man who combines the youthful, smooth aesthetic of a twink with the muscular or athletic build of a hunk. A twink is typically a slim, youthful man with little body hair, usually in his late teens to twenties; a twunk keeps that boyish face and smoothness but adds visible muscle, often the physique of a jock or someone who has bulked up or aged slightly out of the twink range. The term reflects the community's playful habit of coining physical 'types,' while also showing how those categories blur and overlap. Like most such labels, it lands best when used within the community itself.
