Chaser
Chaser is a term for someone whose attraction to a person centers on a single trait, most often being transgender, in a way that reduces the person to a fetish.
Chaser refers to a person who pursues others primarily for one characteristic rather than for who they are as a whole person. It is used most often for people who seek out trans partners in a way that treats being transgender as a fetish, and it also appears in phrases like chubby chaser. The word carries a critical edge: it names attraction that reduces someone to a body part or an identity category, so that any person with the same trait would do. Not all attraction to trans people is chasing, and many trans people distinguish respectful desire from being wanted only as an object. The distinction turns on whether someone's full humanity is recognized.
