Frottage

Frottage is non-penetrative sex in which partners rub their bodies, usually the genitals, against each other for pleasure.

Frottage, from the French frotter (to rub), refers to non-penetrative sex in which partners rub their bodies together for erotic pleasure, most often genital-to-genital or genital-to-body contact. It is an umbrella term, and anyone can take part regardless of their anatomy. In gay male spaces the narrower term "frot" or "frotting" usually means direct penis-to-penis rubbing. Frottage is practiced across all orientations and has a long history in queer culture as a form of intimacy that does not involve penetration. Because it does not involve penetration, it generally carries a lower risk of sexually transmitted infection than anal or vaginal sex, though skin-to-skin contact can still transmit some infections. It should not be confused with frotteurism, which is non-consensual rubbing against another person.
