Polygender

Polygender is a non-binary gender identity in which a person experiences more than one gender. Those genders may be felt at the same time, may shift back and forth, or may layer together in ways that a single label cannot capture. The 'poly' prefix means many. A polygender person might identify with a specific set of genders, or with a changing mix over time. The term overlaps with related identities but carries its own emphasis. It differs from bigender, which describes experiencing two genders, and from pangender, which describes identifying with all genders or a very wide range. As with other identity words, the people who use it define exactly what it means for them.
