Androgyne

Androgyne is a gender identity in which a person's gender blends or sits between masculine and feminine, or falls outside that binary entirely. The mix need not be even, and some androgynes describe feeling like neither. It is recognized as one of many nonbinary identities. Androgyne is distinct from androgyny as a look or presentation. A person can present androgynously without holding an androgyne identity, and an androgyne person can present in any way they choose. Pronouns vary from person to person: some use gender-neutral pronouns such as they/them, while others use he, she, or a combination. As with any identity term, the clearest guide is how each individual defines it for themselves.
