Polyromantic

Polyromantic describes a romantic orientation in which a person is romantically drawn to people of multiple genders, but not necessarily every gender. The term comes from the Greek prefix poly, meaning many. Romantic orientation is a concept that grew out of asexual and aromantic communities, which distinguish who a person wants to build romantic bonds with from who they feel sexual attraction toward. A polyromantic person might fall in love with women, non-binary people, and men in differing ways, while still feeling their attraction has limits. Someone can be polyromantic and have a separate sexual orientation. It sits close to bi- and pan-romantic identities, with the key note being multiple genders rather than all.
