Showoff

Showoff is an informal term for a person who takes pleasure in displaying themselves, whether their body, their style, or their sexuality, to others who enjoy watching. In LGBTQ+ and kink spaces the word overlaps with exhibitionism, one half of the exhibitionist-and-voyeur dynamic where one person likes to be seen and another likes to look. This kind of display shows up at Pride events, on social platforms, in performance, and in consensual adult settings. As a kink it is practiced with willing viewers and clear boundaries. Used casually, showoff can be teasing or affectionate, describing someone comfortable being the center of attention.
