Superchub

Superchub is a gay-slang term for a man at the larger end of the big-bodied spectrum, bigger than a typical "chub." It belongs to chub and chaser culture, a body-positive corner of gay male life that celebrates fat and heavyset men rather than the lean, youthful ideal often centered in mainstream gay spaces. Chub culture overlaps with, but is distinct from, bear culture, which centers on larger, hairier, more masculine-presenting men. A "chaser" is someone attracted to chubs and superchubs. Like most community size labels (chub, bear, cub, chaser), the word is used affectionately as a self-identifier and in dating and social settings. Meaning shifts with context and personal preference, so people define it for themselves.
