The Raven

The Raven is a long-running LGBTQ+ bar and resort in New Hope, Pennsylvania, a small arts town in Bucks County that has drawn queer visitors from Philadelphia and New York for decades. Reincorporated under the name in 1979, it grew into a restaurant, bar, nightclub, piano bar, cabaret, and pool club, and it became one of New Hope's most recognized queer institutions. Over the years it served as a safe space for drag performers, transgender people, and the wider community, hosting parties, cabaret nights, and even drag weddings. It has been documented as a landmark in the town's preserved LGBTQ+ history.
