Tribbing

Tribbing, also called tribadism or scissoring, is a sexual practice in which a person rubs their vulva against a partner's vulva or another part of the body for pleasure. The word comes from the Greek tribas and the verb meaning to rub, and it is most often associated with sex between women or people with vulvas, though anyone can enjoy it. Scissoring specifically describes the position where two people interlock their legs to bring their genitals together. Long treated as a punchline in mainstream media, tribbing is now discussed openly in queer sexual health resources as one valid and pleasurable form of intimacy among many.
