Aroace
Aroace describes a person who is both aromantic and asexual, experiencing little or no romantic and little or no sexual attraction.
Aroace, sometimes written aro-ace, combines aromantic (aro) and asexual (ace) to describe someone who experiences little or no romantic attraction and little or no sexual attraction. Because romantic and sexual orientation are distinct, the two labels sit together comfortably. Aroace people navigate a culture that tends to assume everyone wants both a romantic and a sexual partner, so the label is a way to name an experience that gets overlooked. That does not mean a life without connection: aroace people build friendships, chosen family, and other meaningful bonds. Aroace has its own community spaces and flag, and it sits at the intersection of the asexual and aromantic spectrums.
