Bi+

Bi+ is an inclusive umbrella term for people who are attracted to more than one gender. The plus sign gathers bisexual, pansexual, fluid, omnisexual, queer, and related non-monosexual identities under one banner. The Bisexual Resource Center popularized "bi+" precisely so advocacy and community spaces could represent everyone in this group rather than argue over a single word. HRC defines bisexual as being emotionally, romantically, or sexually attracted to more than one gender, not necessarily at the same time or to the same degree, and bi+ extends that spirit outward. The term is common in health research and organizing, where bi+ people are studied together because they often face similar erasure and disparities.
