Demigirl
Demigirl is a non-binary gender identity for someone who partially, but not fully, identifies as a girl or woman regardless of their assigned sex.
Demigirl is a non-binary gender identity for someone who feels a partial, but not complete, connection to being a girl or woman. It falls under the demigender umbrella, alongside demiboy. The "demi" prefix means half or partial: the person identifies with womanhood to some degree while another part of their gender is non-binary, undefined, or absent. This identity is separate from a person's assigned sex at birth. Demigirls use whatever pronouns fit them, commonly she/her, they/them, or a mix. The term became widely used online in the 2010s as non-binary vocabulary grew, and it gave people finer language for gender experiences that binary categories do not capture.
