Gender Fluid / Genderfluid
Genderfluid describes a person whose gender identity shifts over time rather than staying fixed.
Genderfluid describes a person whose gender identity is not fixed and moves over time between or among different genders. A genderfluid person might feel more masculine one day, more feminine another, both at once, or neither. These shifts can happen over hours, days, or longer, and they are a valid experience under the non-binary umbrella. Some genderfluid people change their pronouns, name, or presentation depending on how they feel, while others do not. The identity challenges the assumption that gender is stable and singular for everyone. It is one of several ways people describe a gender that is dynamic rather than constant.
