Greyromantic

Greyromantic describes someone on the aromantic spectrum who experiences romantic attraction rarely, weakly, or only under specific conditions.

Greyromantic, also spelled grayromantic, describes a romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum. A greyromantic person experiences romantic attraction only rarely, with low intensity, or under narrow and specific circumstances. The identity sits between aromantic, meaning little to no romantic attraction, and alloromantic, meaning romantic attraction experienced regularly. Some greyromantic people feel attraction occasionally but struggle to name it clearly, while others find their experience of romance simply does not match cultural expectations. The grey prefix appears across several identities, including greysexual, to mark this in-between, spectrum quality. Greyromantic is separate from a person's sexual orientation, so someone can be greyromantic and also gay, bisexual, straight, asexual, or any other orientation.
