Neptunic
Neptunic describes attraction to women and to feminine or neutral-aligned non-binary people, but not to men.
Neptunic describes attraction to women along with feminine and neutral-aligned non-binary people, while not including attraction to men. Named after the planet Neptune, it belongs to a small set of terms used mainly by non-binary and genderqueer people who want to describe who they are drawn to without relying on words like "gay" or "straight," which assume a fixed gender for the person using them. Its counterpart is uranic, which points the other way. Someone might use neptunic when "lesbian" or "bisexual" does not quite fit their own gender or the range of people they are attracted to. It is a community-generated label rather than a clinical category.
