Red, White & Royal Blue is a romance by Casey McQuiston, published in 2019 as their debut novel and later adapted into a 2023 film for Amazon Prime Video. The enemies-to-lovers story follows Alex Claremont-Diaz, the biracial son of the first woman president of the United States, and Prince Henry of Wales. After a public altercation forces the two into a staged friendship, they fall in love, and Alex comes to understand himself as bisexual. Set against a high-stakes presidential re-election campaign, the book explores identity, duty, and living openly. It became a widely loved title in LGBTQ+ fiction, and a sequel, Red, White & Royal Wedding, is in development with the film's leads returning.
