Reneé Rapp

Reneé Rapp is an American singer, songwriter, and actress born in 1999 in North Carolina. She first drew wide attention playing Regina George in the Broadway musical Mean Girls, then reprised the role in the 2024 film adaptation, and starred as Leighton in the series The Sex Lives of College Girls. Her music, including the album Snow Angel, often draws on queer relationships and personal experience. Rapp publicly identified as bisexual before coming out as a lesbian in 2024, a shift she made publicly during a Saturday Night Live appearance. She has been candid that growing up in the South shaped how she once labeled herself, and she has pushed back firmly against people who questioned her coming out, saying that if she says she is a lesbian, she is a lesbian.
