Snatched

Snatched is a slang term of praise that emerged from Black drag and ballroom culture, where it describes someone looking flawless, polished, and put together. It often points to a slim, cinched waist or a sculpted silhouette, but it can praise an entire look, an outfit, or a face of makeup. The idea is that something looks so good it could snatch your wig or weave right off. The word spread into wider queer vernacular and then mainstream and Gen Z slang, helped along by shows like RuPaul's Drag Race. Today it works as a general compliment meaning someone looks amazing.
