Feminine-of-center
Feminine-of-center describes a person who understands or presents themselves as generally more feminine, though they may not identify fully as a woman.
Feminine-of-center describes a person whose gender identity or expression leans toward the feminine end of the spectrum without necessarily being conventionally or fully feminine, and without always meaning the person identifies as a woman. The phrase is useful for people who feel and often present as feminine but relate to gender in a queer, fluid, or non-binary way. It pairs with masculine-of-center as a way to place oneself along a range rather than in a fixed box. Like most identity language, it is self-defined, so two people who both use it may mean somewhat different things. It describes a general direction of gender rather than a strict category.
