Guydyke

Guydyke is an uncommon identity label that some people use to describe feeling both masculine, or male-identified, and deeply connected to dyke and lesbian culture. It tends to be claimed by certain trans men, transmasculine people, or gender-nonconforming individuals whose sense of self was shaped inside lesbian community and who do not want to abandon that bond as they move through gender. The term reflects the way gender identity and cultural belonging do not always line up neatly. It circulates mainly in queer and trans online spaces and is not a widely standardized term, so meaning can vary from person to person and is best understood from how each individual defines it.
