Multisexual

Multisexual, also called plurisexual, is an umbrella term covering every orientation defined by attraction to more than one gender. It includes bisexual, pansexual, polysexual, omnisexual, and often queer identities, which are sometimes grouped as the multisexual spectrum, or m-spec. The word is useful in advocacy, research, and community organizing because it names a shared experience without collapsing the differences between specific labels or requiring agreement on exactly what each one means. People rarely call themselves simply multisexual in daily life, tending to use a more specific term, but the umbrella helps when talking about the whole group at once, for example around biphobia or bi-plus health.
