Transbian

Transbian is an informal, community-coined word that combines 'transgender' and 'lesbian.' It describes a transgender woman, or a transfeminine person, who identifies as a lesbian and is attracted to women. This includes attraction to both trans and cisgender women. The term affirms that trans women can hold any sexual orientation, and that lesbian trans women belong fully in both transgender and lesbian communities. It is used mostly within LGBTQ+ spaces, often as a positive self-identifier, and now appears in general dictionaries such as Cambridge.
