Androphilia

Androphilia is sexual or romantic attraction to men or to masculinity, described independently of the gender of the person feeling it.

Androphilia means attraction to men, male-presenting people, or masculinity. Like its counterpart gynephilia, it centers on who a person is attracted to rather than that person's own gender. Terms such as gay, straight, and bisexual describe attraction in relation to the subject's gender, but androphilia names only the object of attraction, which sidesteps those assumptions. This makes it particularly useful for describing the attractions of transgender and nonbinary people, where the usual labels can be ambiguous or ill-fitting. The word comes from Greek roots meaning "man" and "love" and has roots in sexology, where androphilia and gynephilia were coined to describe attraction without presuming the subject's gender. A related everyday term is androsexual.
