T4T

T4T stands for "trans for trans" and describes connections between transgender people, whether romantic, sexual, or community-based. The term started as personal-ad shorthand and grew into something larger: a preference for and celebration of intimacy with other trans people who share the lived experience of gender, bodies, and transition. For many, T4T is both deeply personal and quietly political, a form of care and solidarity rooted in being fully understood without having to explain. It has become a meaningful shorthand in trans culture for love and community that centers trans people themselves.
